"Naarashauki is concerned with the city dwellers who have rural second homes, and who venture out from the city at weekends or on vacation to potter about in their lakeside cabins, enganging in heatlhy outdoor pursuits such as fishing and hunting. “Naarashauki, The Female Pike"  by Esko Männikö covers similar territory, and in an analogous way to Pekka Turunen. Both books (Against the Wall by P. Turunen) are shot in large– format colour and are printed on a matt paper that holds the colour beautifully."
